Rams vs Cowboys NFL Odds Week 3

The St. Louis Rams are on the road for a second consecutive weekend as they square off against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington this afternoon. Today's meeting between the two NFC squads is scheduled to kick off at 1:00pm ET on FOX. The latest NFL Odds Week 3 from offshore bookmaker 5Dimes have the Cowboys listed as a -3.5 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 47 points. St. Louis is drawing a +165 money line ($100 wins $165) while the Pokes are getting -190 odds ($190 wins $100) to win their second game of the season.

The Rams, who were out-gained by Arizona in their season opener, needed a late rally to clip the Cardinals 27-24 in week one. St. Louis found itself in the same chase position last week in Atlanta, but its bid to reel in the Falcons came up short.

Jeff Fisher's troop trailed 21-0 early in the second quarter, but they managed to get within a score in the final frame when Sam Bradford hit wide receiver Austin Pettis to make it a 17-24 ball game.

Atlanta answered back to make it 31-17 and it hung on to win the game 31-24, narrowly covering the 6.5 point spread. Despite the loss, St. Louis did some nice things in the game, posting 421 total yards while limiting the Falcons to 36 rush yards on 16 carries.

The Rams will, in all probability, need four solid quarter today in order to get past the Cowboys. Dallas has been sloppy on occasion this season, but it knocked off the Giants 36-31 in its season/home opener and it nearly upset the favored Chiefs last weekend in Kansas City, falling 16-17 at Arrowhead.

The Cowboys passing attack has been the team's biggest weapon through two weeks of play as Tony Romo completed 36-of-49 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns against New York before tossing for 298 yards and one score against the Chiefs.

Dallas ability to strike through the air puts the Rams in a tough spot this afternoon. Despite being one of the better pass rushing teams in the league, St. Louis pass defense has been horrendous through two games.

The Rams allowed 304 pass yards and two passing touchdowns against the Cardinals while the Falcons threw for 357 yards at a n 8.3 yards per pass clip in last weekend's win over St. Louis.

Notable Trends: The Cowboys are 7-2 straight up but just 1-8 against the spread in their last nine games as a home favorite with a total between 44.5 and 47 points.

Rams vs Cowboys NFL Odds Week 3:

St. Louis Rams +3.5 (-115), Over 47 (-110), +165 (Moneyline)

Dallas Cowboys -3.5 (-105), Under 47 (-110), -190 (Moneyline)
