Sunday NFL and we will see the Arizona Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington. The game has a start time of 4:05 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on FOX. Current Vegas odds have the Seahawks listed as 7 point favorites, while the total is set at 41.  

Analysis:  The Arizona Cardinals come in with the best record in the NFL at 9-1 and they have a 3 game lead over both San Francisco and Seattle in the NFC West. The Cardinals are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. win, and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games, but the visitor is just 5-11 ATS the last 16 in this series. The Cardinals are a very average offensive squad that ranks 20th in total yards, 11th in passing, 30th in rushing and 14th in scoring (23.7 ppg). The defense for the Cards have been solid, ranking 13th in total yards allowed, 29th vs the pass, 3rd vs the run and 3rd in points allowed (17.6 ppg). 

The Seattle Seahawks have not had the year they were expect as they come into this game with a 6-4 record and are currently sitting 3 games behind the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks are 15-6 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 19-8 ATS in their last 27 vs. NFC, but just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Seahawks have been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 10th in total yards, 30th in passing, 1st in rushing and 10th in scoring (26 ppg). The defense has been solid as well, ranking 3rd in yards allowed, 3rd vs the pass, 7th vs the run and 12th in points allowed (21.5 ppg). 

Pick: I will be going with the Seahawks in this one. I know that the Cardinals are playing very well this year and they do have the best record in the NFL, but I really feel that the Seahawks are due to put a hurtin’ on a team and make a statement that they are still a formidable team. The Seahawks also have revenge on their minds for last year 17-10 home loss, which was their only home loss of the year. This game will be Drew Stanton’s biggest test so far and he hasn’t been all good when he has played this year, completing just 53.6% of his passes and last week vs a very tough Detroit defense he didn’t do anything past the first quarter. Now he will go to one of the toughest venues for even the most seasoned QBs to play well. I just don’t see him doing allot in this one, while the Seattle offense should wake up and have some success vs an Arizona defense that isn’t as good on te road as they are at home. Seattle by 10+ in this one.
