The Portland Trail Blazers continue their four game road swing tonight as they battle the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, This evening's meeting between the two squads is scheduled to get underway at 8:00pm ET on ESPN. Wednesday's opening NBA Betting Odds have the Blazers listed as a -2.5 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 207 points.

The Knicks were a bad team to start the season, but they have been a streaky team since ringing in the new year. New York put together four and five game winning streaks last month, but it also suffered through a five game skid. It will look to avoid another extended slide tonight as it comes into this evening's game off back to back losses.

The Knicks lost 91-106 to the Heat on Saturday at Madison Square Garden and it somehow managed to let Milwaukee score a 101-98 win at the Bradley Center on Monday.

Fortunately for New York, which is 19-29 overall after its misstep against the lowly Bucks, the Trail Blazers are experiencing some troubles of the their own right now.

At 34-14 Portland owns the third best record in the Western Conference, but it has not played like the conference's third best team of late.

The Blazers lost 90-100 at Washington last night, giving them their fifth loss in their last eight games. Portland is also 0-4 in its last four road outings, losing to the Rockets, Thunder, Warriors, and Wizards by an average of 11.5 points per game.

Portland has owned the Knicks the last few years, though. The Trail Blazers have won three straight in the series, including a 102-91 victory on November 25th at the Moda Center, and they are 8-3 in their last 11 meetings with New York.

Notable Trends: The Knicks are 1-5 both straight up and against the spread in their last six games as a home dog coming off back to back losses, the most recent of which came on the road.
