The Oregon Ducks and Arizona State Sun Devils meet up in Pac 12 College Basketball action tonight. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. (EST) start time and it will be televised live on the Pac 12 Network. Currently the Betting Odds for the game have the Sun Devils favored at home by a couple of buckets.
Pair of underachieving teams right here. Oregon still has a chance at making the NCAA Tournament and can not afford to lose this one in the desert. Arizona State is just 11-10 on the season and has fallen to a 3-5 record in Pac 12 play. Tonight they will look to hold home court against a Ducks team that is coming off getting drilled by Arizona in their last game.
That might have something to do with tonight's line on the game. Arizona State is favored by a couple of buckets in this one as Oregon got drilled by 34. The Pac 12 hasn't been the best to Oregon so far this season as they've been beaten up by Arizona twice and lost a pair of games at Washington State and at Washington. In home games, Oregon has won all four Pac 12 games.
These two teams met up just a couple of weeks ago, with Oregon picking up a close 3-point win on their own floor. The Sun Devils have won three of their last four games overall and are winners of 10 games on their own floor this season.
Three Sun Devils average double digits on the season while Oregon has one of the best scorers in the country in Joseph Young. If this is a lower-scoring game Arizona State definitely has an advantage as Oregon likes to get up and down the floor and score points. The Ducks did win a low-scoring game the first time these teams met and there's a good chance they're able to do it again. The points seems like the right move here.
