Wednesday night college basketball and we will see the USC Trojans travel to the Pauley Pavilion to take on the UCLA Bruins. The game has a start time of 9:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN 2. Current Vegas betting odds have the Bruins listed as 13 point favorites, while the total is set at 140.5. 

Analysis:  The USC Trojans are off a nice 70-55 home win over Washington on Saturday, but still this has not been a good team this year as they have gone just 11-18 overall, while placing last in the Pac-12 with a 3-14 mark. USC has gone 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, but 0-4 ATS the last 4 games in the series. The Trojans have not been a very good offensive squad this year, ranking 192nd in scoring (66.7 ppg), 276th in shooting (41.6%), 302nd in 3 point shooting (31.1%) and 333rd in FT shooting (63.4%). The defense for this team has been poor, ranking 271st in points allowed (69.9 ppg), 107th in defensive FG% (41.5%) and 66th in 3 point defense (31.9%).  

The UCLA Bruins are off a surprisingly close home win over Washington State, in which they won just 72-67. The win now has UCLA at 18-12 overall for the year, including 15-1 at home and 10-7 within the Pac-12. UCLA has gone 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games and 25-11 ATS in their last 36 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Bruins have been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 86th in scoring (71.0 ppg), 189th in shooting (43.3%), 153rd in 3 point shooting (35.3%) and 259th in FT shooting (66.7%). The defense for this team has been better of late, but still for the year they are ranked 215th in points allowed (67.7 ppg), 98th in defensive FG% (41.3%) and 227th in 3 point defense (34.9%).

Pick: Going to look at the over in this game. The Bruins have been an excellent offensive team at home, where they have averaged 80.5 ppg for the year so far and USC has struggled on defense on the road, allowing 71.5 ppg. UCLA has played much better defensively of late, but I do feel that USC can get their fair share of points in this one. This should be an uptempo game and a final of 79-66 looks to be about right.
