The Bedlam continues this afternoon as Oklahoma plays host to in-state and conference rival Oklahoma State. Start time in today’s meeting between the Sooners and Cowboys is set for 3:30pm ET at the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium; the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. The Sooners lose to the Cowboys today or TCU next week and their conference championship dreams are finished. However, should they win out and Kansas State loses at home to Texas next weekend the Big 12 Championship and a BCS bowl appearance are theirs.

For the Cowboys not as much is at stake, but they do have an opportunity to win at least nine games for a fifth consecutive season. Oklahoma State can also record its second consecutive win over the Sooners, something it has not done since the 2001 and 2002 seasons.

The odds makers do not like their chances, though, with Oklahoma laying seven points. The Sooners are hot right now, having won three in a row and six of their last seven games, but they are no hotter than the Cowboys. Oklahoma State has won five of six and it has topped the 50 points mark in its last two games, outscoring West Virginia and Texas Tech 114-55.

Nonetheless, what the Pokes have not done is perform well, at least of late, as a road dog at Oklahoma. Oklahoma State is 1-5 both straight up and against the spread in its last six games getting points in Norman, losing by an average of 33.4 points per game.

This Cowboys team is too good to fall by that much, but seven points in not that big of a stretch, especially if their away from home ball security issues continue. Oklahoma State is dead last in the FBS in road turnover margin average at -3.33 per game.
