Oklahoma City Thunder vs Houston Rockets NBA Odds

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets will meet for the second time this season when they square off at the Toyota Center later tonight. The two Western Conference rivals are scheduled to take the court at 9:30pm ET; this evening's meeting between the Thunder and Rockets will be broadcast live on TNT. Thursday NBA Odds from offshore bookmaker Sportsbook.ag have Houston listed as a -2.5 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 207.5 points.

When Oklahoma City and Houston met at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on December 29th, the Thunder, despite the absence of Russell Westbrook, were expected to win. Kevin Durant and company were favored by 4.5 points, but that number proved far too small as they embarrassed the visiting Rockets 117-86.

Oklahoma City lit it up on offense, connecting on 47 of its 82 field goal attempts and defensively it held Houston to 36.5 percent from the field. Durant finished the game with 33 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists while the Rockets leading scorer, former Thunder member James Harden, posted eight points on 2-of-9 shooting.

Despite that result, the Rockets are looking like the more formidable team heading into tonight's game. Oklahoma City is 3-5 since playing Houston and it is 0-3 in its last three road outings, falling to the Jazz, Nuggets, and Grizzlies by an average of nine points per game.

The Rockets, meanwhile, have won five of their last six games and they secured their third straight win on Wednesday night with a 103-100 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Thunder have won three of the last four in this series, but the Rockets, a 15-5 team at the Toyota Center, are 2-1 in their last three home games against Oklahoma City.

Notable Trends: Houston is 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread in its last five games as a home favorite with a total between 205 and 210 points.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Houston Rockets NBA Odds:

Oklahoma City Thunder +2.5 (-110), Over 207.5 (-110), +125 (Moneyline)

Houston Rockets -2.5 (-110), Under 207.5 (-110), -145 (Moneyline)
