Georgia -14.5
Total: 57 points
This is the biggest game of the weekend and features two teams ranked inside the Top 10. Credit to these schools for playing a home and home, Georgia won in South Bend two years ago. That was Jake Fromm’s first start and he’s certainly gotten better during that time.
Georgia may have the best offensive line in the country. They’re going to line it up and run right at Notre Dame often in this one. Fromm can also make plenty of plays with his arm and has a real nice receiving group to get the football to.
ND is coming off a huge win at home over New Mexico, but they’re not going to put up all those points against the Bulldogs here. Ian Book and the Irish offense have to stay as balanced as they can, because getting down too much early will cause a problem. The Irish have already been out-rushed by Louisville and New Mexico, so finding a run game here seems unlikely as well. That puts too much pressure on Book to get it done himself, though he has been strong so far this year.
Georgia’s at home, with a balanced offense, and a solid defense.
