Game 2 of the National League Division Series takes place tonight when the Los Angeles Dodgers looks to grab a 2-0 lead over the Atlanta Braves. The game is scheduled for a 6:07 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TBS. The odds for the game currently have the Dodgers as a small favorite.

The Dodgers got an amazing effort from Clayton Kershaw in Game 1 — allowing just five hits and striking out 12 in seven innings over Atlanta. That's exactly what the Dodgers needed in this game, which was played in Atlanta where the Braves were so good this season.

Here's a fun fact — Los Angeles is 39-16 this season when Yasiel Puig scores a run. When he doesn't play? Just 53-54, which includes games that he didn't play. Puig did score in Thursday's game, by the way.

In Game 2 the Dodgers will give the ball to Zack Greinke, who finished the season with 15 wins and a 2.68 ERA even though he missed significant time. Greinke will be looking to give the Dodgers a dominant 2-0 series lead in this one and possibly one where the Braves won't be able to come back from in the final three games. Remember, Atlanta was one of the best teams in baseball at home during the regular season. If they were to drop each of the opening games at Turner Field the Braves season is over.

They will give the ball to Zach Minor, who was very solid this season despite just a 13-9 record. He did go only 6-5 at home this year, however. Yet, in two starts against the Dodgers in 2013 he finished with a 1-0 record and allowing just three runs over 12 innings of work.

In Greinke's only start against the Braves this season he picked up a win over seven innings of work where he struck out seven hitters.

There won't be many runs scored in this one. Look for both pitchers to have solid efforts and we expect Atlanta to get more clutch hits. The Braves need a victory in this one in the worst way and we believe they'll get it done. Beating Greinke won't be easy but at this point if they don't win their season is over.
