During the regular season Calgary was 21-16-4 while playing at home. Anaheim was one of the best teams at home themselves, but they struggled to win consistently on the road, going just 17-15-9. Anaheim came into the post season playing excellent hockey so them jumping out to a 2-0 series lead should come as no surprise.

Both games ended in 3-2 finals previously. Calgary has played well enough to win, they out-shot Anaheim 37-29 in Game 2. The Flames have to continue to bring a strong effort and picking up a win here can help get them back into the series.
