Carolina and New Orleans are on the bottom side of the NFC South standings, both are looking up at an Atlanta Falcons team that has played pretty well to this point in the season. Both these squads tonight are coming off pretty sour losses and should be looking to get things back on track despite the short week.

New Orleans lost in a very strange way, going to take the lead on a potential game-winning extra point that was blocked and returned for two points by Denver. That proved to be the difference late in the game. Carolina led Kansas City by three possessions in the second quarter only to turn it over too much and surrender 20 unanswered points in a loss to the Chiefs.

Both teams will be eager to get back in the win column here. New Orleans already owns a victory over Carolina from a few weeks back, Drew Brees threw for more than 450 yards and four touchdowns in that game. Carolina obviously has to play better in this one in order to have a shot at beating New Orleans.

Cam Netwon has to lead Carolina to a win here if they are going to potentially make the post season. Starting in a 3-6 hole is not good and New Orleans has already proven they can beat the Panthers, who have injuries on the field in key spots. Jonathan Stewart should be ready for another big game, he scored twice against the Saints in the last game and had an impact on the contest. He's back closer to 100 percent as well, so he should see a lot of action.

Carolina at home is just 2-3 this season, but this is a game they have to win.
