The entire NFL Season Win Totals have been released by the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Hilton). The Titans have been projected with an over/under of 6.5 wins this season. The AFC South saw the Titans finish third last season with a 6-10 record. The LVH has released season win totals for each of the NFL franchises and the Titans are once again projected to be a lower tier team.
The AFC South got a bit more difficult last season as both the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts qualified for the playoffs. That's four games the Titans will have to play on the schedule for this year as well. Jake Locker has proven when healthy he can lead the team to being very competitive on the field. Five different Titans caught touchdown last season and Locker threw for better than 2,100 yards while Matt Hasselbeck tossed another 1,350 yards as well.
Chris Johnson was once the best offensive threat in football but has not had the same type of success the past few seasons. Last year, however, he showed signs of getting back to that success by rushing for better than 1,200 yards. Locker was second on the team in rushing, which looks to be a bit of a concern for the Titans, who don't need their QB out there getting smashed more than he needs to be.
Looking at this year's schedule, it's hard to imagine the Titans not starting 0-2 with opening road games at Pittsburgh and Houston. They also will have road games this season at Seattle in addition to a 3-game road stretch against Oakland, Indianapolis and Denver. Add to that home games against San Francisco and Arizona late in the year and you have a full schedule for the Titans that will be tough for them to navigate.
