The Seattle Seahawks were a major surprise last season as rookie quarterback Russell Wilson led the team to its best finish in over six seasons. Seattle finished its 2012-2013 campaign with an 11-5 mark and it earned a 24-14 playoff win at Washington before nearly defeating the top seeded Falcons in Atlanta (30-28). Wilson and his cohorts will not be sneaking up on anyone this season, though, including the odds makers at Cantor Gaming, who have the Seahawks NFL Season Win Total set at 10 games (Over favored at -120 odds). Seattle will also deal with a couple other playoff teams from last year in the Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings.
The Seahawks schedule has not soured the folks at Cantor Gaming on the team’s 2013 prospects, though. Wilson and company are favored in all but two of their 15 lined games (PICK at Atlanta and +2.5 Dog at San Francisco) and they are favored by 3.5 or more points in four of their eight road games.
