NFL Schedule Release: Major Disagreement Among Sportsbooks

NFL Schedule Release: Major Disagreement Among Sportsbooks

The countdown is on for Thursday's official NFL Schedule release, and the excitement is palpable as fans and bettors eagerly await the final details of the upcoming 2023 season. Ahead of the release, several early lines have been posted, offering a sneak peek into some highly anticipated matchups.

A major difference of opinion has been revealed among the sportsbooks when it comes to the spread for Aaron Rodgers' debut game as a New York Jet, where the Jets will host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 1.

DraftKings in New Jersey has the Bills as a -3 (-105) favorite, with the Jets catching +3 (-115). However, Westgate in Nevada has taken a drastically different stance, opening the game as a Pick'em, with -110 on either side of the moneyline.

With a wide 3-point difference of opinion - going on to the key NFL number of +3 – th is is another illustration of the importance for the savvy bettor to have access to the right Out.  If you like the NY Jets in the game - find a way to get down at DraftKings and get +3 or +145 on the Moneyline.  On the other hand, if you think the Bills beat Rodgers and the Jets Week 1, the Westgate allows to forgo laying any points when you make your wage at PK’em -110. Either side you like, take advantage!

DraftKings and Westgate in Nevada don’t disagree on everything however: The two books are agree on the line for the recently unveiled NFL season opener, where the Kansas City Chiefs have opened at both books as 7-point favorites hosting the Detroit Lions on Thursday, September 7th.

Additional lines available at DraftKings include:

Jacksonville Jaguars as 4-point favorites hosting the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4

Buffalo Bills as 3.5-point favorites hosting the Jaguars in Week 5

Baltimore Ravens as 5.5-point road favorites visiting the Tennessee Titans in Week 6

Kansas City Chiefs as 5.5-point favorites hosting the Miami Dolphins in Week 9

New England Patriots as 5-point favorites hosting the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10

In a historic first, the New York Jets are 2.5-point favorites hosting the Miami Dolphins in the NFL's inaugural Black Friday game during Week 12.

Week 13 features a rematch of the NFC Championship, with the Philadelphia Eagles as 2.5-point favorites hosting the San Francisco 49ers.

Two Christmas-Monday matchups in Week 16 have been revealed by DraftKings:

Kansas City Chiefs as 8.5-point favorites hosting the Las Vegas Raiders

Philadelphia Eagles as 7.5-point favorites hosting the New York Giants

Finally, in a rematch of the AFC Championship, the Kansas City Chiefs are 3.5-point favorites hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year's Eve.
