NFL Preseason Odds
Oakland -3
Total: 42.5 points
Both Oakland and Tennessee enter tonight's game with 1-1 records on the preseason. The Raiders are one of the sexy picks to have a strong, breakout season in 2016 and it's possible they do. They are certainly a team with a lot of potential and the young talent to be able to get it done.
Tennessee is coming off a 26-16 loss at home against Carolina. The Titans played both of their preseason games at home to date, so this will be their first time on the road. Tennessee will travel to take on the Miami Dolphins in their final preseason game next week.
The addition of DeMarco Murray should help Tennessee, but they also have the Heisman Trophy winner in Derrick Henry on the squad. Between the two, the Titans should have a bruising rushing attack to go along with Marcus Mariota under center.
Oakland's Derek Carr has not got in a lot of work the opening few weeks, it will be interesting to see how many snaps he gets tonight. Connor Cook, the rookie from Michigan State, has been serviceable in his snaps during the preseason.
The Raiders are home, if the defense plays well, is a good bet here.
