Jacksonville -1.5

Jacksonville has the potential to be a strong team in 2016, but it will be interesting to see whether or not they can become contenders. Obviously the preseason isn’t an indication of that and the Jaguars have struggled to open the year with an 0-2 mark, losing to the Jets and Tampa Bay.
The Jaguars could have a strong running game this season with Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon coming out off the backfield. Blake Bortles has taken the necessary steps to be an elite quarterback for the Jaguars and is one of the better young players in the game. The Jags also have some strong receivers and could be a team that puts up some points this season.
The Bengals have been a solid team in the AFC North for some time now with Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and a strong running game as well. Cincinnati is coming off a 30-14 win at Detroit last week, AJ McCarron was strong as the main quarterback for the Bengals, he threw for a touchdown and gave Cincinnati a nice win on the road.
Jacksonville playing on national television will be a big deal, even if this is a preseason game. This season they will have five nationally-televised games during the regular schedule as well, further proof the Jaguars could be a team that is going to be solid this season.
