The New York Jets and New York Giants will meet up on the gridiron tonight in NFL Preseason action. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and the odds for the game have the Jets favored by the slimmest of margins in this one.

The battle for New York takes place tonight between undefeated teams. The Giants have won all three of their games so far this preseason while the Jets are 2-0.
So far the Giants have been decent offensively. They're averaged better than 21 points per game this season while holding their three opponents — Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Indy — to right around 18 points per game. The Giants are just a couple of years removed from a Super Bowl victory, but they need to get back on track after a terrible last season.
The Jets don't have the Super Bowl accolades (since 1968) and have also been a highly scrutinized team. Rex Ryan is always on the back page of the New York tabloids, but if the Jets just win football games, it will all go away.
It appears the quarterback Geno Smith will still be the guy for the Jets, but Mike Vick is now on the roster as well. He might be too good for the Jets not to play this season, so there will certainly be something to watch here.
The Giants were getting drilled in their last preseason game, down 23-0 after three quarters to Indy. They responded to score all 27 points in the final quarter, with Ryan Nassib leading the Giants to the win.
In this game, we expect a well-played contest. Both New York teams have done well in the preseason, but somebody will end up with a loss here tonight (unless it's a tie). The starters should play a little bit more in this contest for both clubs and because of that, we're going to take the Giants because they're a better team.
