NFL Preseason Football Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills meet on the gridiron this afternoon in NFL Preseason Football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. Currently the odds for the game have the Bills favored by about a field goal to pick up the win.

Both Buffalo and Pittsburgh have a single preseason victory heading into tonight's game, the difference being Pittsburgh played in (and lost) to Minnesota in the Hall of Fame game at the beginning of the month. Pittsburgh's 1-2 record is obviously no indication of how the Steelers will be during the regular season but it was nice to see Ben Roethlisberger play a couple of series' in their team's last game, a victory over the Green Bay Packers.

Roethlisberger tossed 14 passes, finishing with 11 completions and a touchdown. He'll probably see the field at least a little bit in this game against Buffalo. The Steelers are going to be playing without Le'Veon Bell at the beginning of their regular season, so developing a starter and some depth for those games is still a major point of emphasis for them. DeAngelo Williams and Dri Archer seem to both be guys that could see some quality time there.

Buffalo has a bit of a quarterback problem. Whether it's going to be EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor or Matt Cassel the Bills need to settle themselves on one. Those options aren't great but having LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson in the backfield will help once the regular season comes around. Getting the football to Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins should make things easier as well.

We could see quite a bit of Taylor and Michael Vick for Pittsburgh in this one. Both defenses should be solid in the regular season and Buffalo has played well on that side of the football during the preseason as well.

Buffalo and Pittsburgh will both see a lot of guys sit this one out, ESPN reported the Bills could be without their four best receivers as well. This should be a battle of guys looking to fill out the depth chart.

Movie Oakland Raiders: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds

Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
