NFL Football Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles Start Time, Betting Odds, Free Pick

The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the Washington Redskins in NFL Football action today. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Redskins favored to pick up the win on the road.

NFL Odds
Washington -2
Total: 47 points

The Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles are both in the basement of the NFC East with the Giants and Cowboys controlling the division. Somebody has to win today, though, and the Redskins are in a position to continue to fight for a playoff spot with a victory here. They’re a game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoff standings and a win here would be huge for them.

Carson Wentz and the Eagles started the season with a 3-0 record, but that’s long gone now. The Eagles are just 2-7 since that time and they are getting beat up weekly as the defense has allowed at least 26 points in five of the last six games overall.

The Redskins already own a win over Philly from Week 6, 27-20, where Philadelphia scored on a kickoff return and an interception return for a touchdown. Kirk Cousins threw for 263 and two scores in that game, Matt Jones rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown as well.

Washington is solid offensively and should be able to exploit a banged up Philly defense. Cousins has a lot of weapons to get the football to and they are fighting for a playoff spot.

Free Pick: Redskins
