NFL Football Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs Start Time, Betting Odds, Free Pick

The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NFL Football action on Sunday afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Chiefs favored to pick up the win at home.

NFL Odds
Chiefs -7.5
Total: 44.5 points

Kansas City is one of the most consistent teams in the NFL. The Chiefs have pieced together 18 victories the last 21 regular season games and they are looking to add another one to the list here, they’ve already won all four games at home.

The Chiefs love to run the football and in large part it’s due to Alex Smith not wanting to throw the football more than 20 yards down the field. Smith and the offense is not a big-play one, but with an effective defense and a solid kicker in Cairo Santos, the Chiefs are that stubborn team in the NFL that just gets the job done.

Tampa Bay is coming off a strong win over Chicago. They didn’t run the ball very well (Peyton Barber led with 38 yards), but getting Doug Martin back is a major plus for the Bucs.

Jameis Winston and Mike Evans are a great combination, but Kansas City has a strong secondary that will cause them some problems. Without being able to run the ball effectively, Winston and the Bucs will be too one-dimensional.

Laying more than a touchdown with the Chiefs can be dangerous and Tampa Bay has actually been a decent team on the road this season, winning three of four.
