The Green Bay Packers are hosting the San Francisco 49ers tonight on Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The NFL Odds for the game have the Packers listed as a heavy favorite to pick up the win at home.
NFL Odds
Green Bay Packers -9
Total: 46 points
San Francisco is dealing with a lot of injury issues. They’re banged up at tailback, wide receiver and on the offensive line, plus Jimmy G is sidelined for the year. That’s never good news when you have to travel to Wisconsin to play the Packers. Green Bay has a bye next week as well, so Aaron Rodgers and the Packers should be fired up to be here at home on national TV.
Mason Crosby was awful last week, but he’s still going to be a big part of the Packers’ success. Receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison are both listed as questionable for tonight’s contest, but Davante Adams will be ready to go and certainly will get a ton of targets either way.
Green Bay has a chance to light up the scoreboard here. The 49er defense is not good and they give up a ton of points (29.2 per game).
