The Seattle Seahawks are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Seahawks favored to pick up the victory at home.

Seattle is coming off the team’s best win of the season, where they kept New England from scoring late to tie the game to secure the win. The Seahawks have played some strong football this season as the defense is once again looking like one of the better units in the league.
The problem for the Seahawks moving forward could be the inability to effectively run the football. Seattle ranks 30th in the league on the ground with 77.7 yards per contest, though they are getting Thomas Rawls back soon and rookie C.J. Prosise has looked pretty good in his time on the field so far.
Philly has its own rookie they are proud of in quarterback Carson Wentz, he’s lead the Eagles to a 4-0 record in home games and is coming off a strong performance in a win over Atlanta last week.
The Eagles defense was the key to that win, though. Philly gave up just 15 points to the highest-scoring offense in the game (32 ppg) and held Atlanta to just 11 first downs in the game.
Russell Wilson is beginning to play better for Seattle. While he’s been a bit banged up this season he appears to be getting healthy. He hasn’t been using his feet nearly as much this season with only 60 yards rushing on the year, but now that he appears to be healthy expect that to improve.
With two solid defenses playing well and Seattle looking to cause the rookie Wentz some problems, this one should stay under the total.
