Today he has a chance to add to that hot start, taking on a Lions team that is allowing opposing quarterbacks to have a league-high 120.2 passer rating. Detroit is just 1-3 on the season and they are one of the worst teams in the league defending the pass, giving up 270 yards per game.

The Lions can move the football with Matthew Stafford and his group of receivers, but it’s the defense that will be the problem here. Wentz has been calm and collected in his time under center and Philadelphia is also playing with a stingy defense that can shut the Lions down here. The Eagles also have some revenge here as they dropped a 45-14 decision in Detroit last season.

Philadelphia is giving up just nine points a game this season, giving them some confidence coming into this one.
