The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles meet up later today in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Eagles favored by a handful of points in this one at home.
The rivalry gets renewed again later today as the Eagles and Cowboys face off on national television. Dallas won in impressive fashion last weekend, scoring a touchdown as time was expiring against the New York Giants. Tony Romo looked very solid on that last drive and finished with 356 yards and three scores in the victory.
It was clear the Cowboys missed DeMarco Murray on some level as Joseph Randle led the way on the ground with only 65 yards. Murray scored twice last week against Atlanta and should have some type of revenge on his mind against his former mates. Philadelphia runs that spread-option look with quarterback Sam Bradford in Chip Kelly's system, but they only accounted for 63 yards on the ground against Atlanta last week. Falling behind early probably played a bit into that overall number and Philadelphia looked much better offensively in the second half.
Dallas is playing without Dez Bryant, someone else is going to have to step up and be the pass catcher. Romo will surely want to get the ball to his favorite target in Jason Witten, but both Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley will have to show up tonight.
Each team has a decent defense and the edge should go to Philly for being at home. The Eagles won 38-27 last year against Dallas at home and they'll win again tonight, but the Cowboys should be able to keep this one close.
