The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons meet up on Sunday afternoon in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Falcons favored by a touchdown to pick up the win.
Total: 56 points
Atlanta has already piled up 10 wins on the season, giving them a division title for the NFC South. Last year it was the opposite situation here as the Saints knocked the Falcons out of the post season, but this year Atlanta is in line for a home playoff game.
The Falcons have out-scored opponents by 128 points this season, the second-best number in the NFC this year (Dallas) and the third-best mark (New England) in the entire league. New Orleans has won two straight games, beating both Arizona and Tampa Bay.
Drew Brees isn’t the kind of guy to just roll over and not play hard, so expect a solid effort from them in this game, looking to even the season series with the Falcons and finish the season with an 8-8 record. Expect points because both defenses are pretty poor.
Brees and Matt Ryan should be able to put up some big numbers here, especially if Ryan and the Falcons play a big chunk of the contest and don’t mail it in.
