Green?Bay has been a shell of its former self, losing four straight games and five of the last six to fall into a tailspin on the season. The Packers are just 4-6 and looking up at both Minnesota and Detroit in the NFC?North standings, they need to get it turned around quickly if they are going to have any say on what happens. The Packers still have games against Houston and Seattle in non-divisional play before ending the season with a single game against Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit.
The defense has been the big problem for Green Bay as they’ve given up 33, 31, 47 and 42 points the last four games, which is awful. Tonight they face rookie Carson Wentz, but Philly has won (and covered) all four games at home with him under center.
This is the third straight road game for Green?Bay and they have been terrible the last month. The line looks to be a bit small in spite of those things as Aaron Rodgers and the offense should still be able to put up some points.
Green?Bay can’t run the football. Philadelphia might struggle there tonight too with Ryan?Matthews and Darren Sproles being banged up. Because of that, expect to see the ball in the air quite a bit. That can give a bit of an edge to the Packers here with Rodgers and his stable of receivers, but that Green Bay defense is not playing well enough to stop anybody.
