The Chicago Bears are on the road in NFL Football action on Thursday, taking on the Detroit Lions in their annual Thanksgiving game. The contest is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Bears favored to pick up the win in close fashion.
Total: 37 points
Matthew Stafford once again will miss another game for the Detroit Lions. Jeff Driskel has done a decent job filling in, even though they aren't winning games, but he's banged up as well. The Lions could be down to just undrafted rookie David Blough in this one, which of course would be bad news for the Motor City fans. Detroit has lost seven of its last eight games overall.
The Bears are still thinking playoffs despite a poor follow up to a 3-1 start. Chicago is just 5-6 overall and in the last seven games, close wins over Detroit and the Giants are all they have to show for it. Sure the defense is nice, but they will have to get continued improved play from Mitch Trubisky to get where they want to go.
