The NFL Football season continues tonight when the Carolina Panthers travel to take on the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:20 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the NFL Network. The NFL odds for the contest have the Panthers favored to pick up the win on the road over the Texans.

Carolina has exceeded expectations to this point, marching out to a 2-0 record. The Texans were playing better than expected as well, but Tyrod Taylor was injured and now they have to go with a rookie quarterback here. It's tough to look at Carolina as this big of a road dog, especially on a short week, but we really don't know what to expect from Davis Mills. It is safe to assume the Texans will keep the playbook vanilla to keep him protected as much as possible.
