The Oakland Raiders are hosting the Buffalo Bills in NFL Football action today. The game is scheduled for a 4:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. The NFL Odds for the game have the Raiders favored by a field goal to pick up the victory.
Total: 48.5 points
Oakland is still tied with New England with the top overall record in the AFC at 9-2. The Raiders have won five consecutive games and have a pretty solid record in home games, winning four of the last six, plus they’ve picked up wins in six of seven AFC games this season.
Buffalo could pose some problems, though. The Bills are only 6-5 on the season but they’re only a field goal dog here. Tyrod Taylor is excellent at the quarterback position providing a big-play ability through the air and with his feet. LeSean McCoy is a major threat out of the backfield whether he’s running or catching a pass. McCoy will look to have a big game against an Oakland defense that ranks as one of the worst in the league at stopping the run.
Buffalo’s defense has to come up big. The Raiders have scored at least 30 points in four straight games and Derek Carr has no problem leading his team to the end zone. The young QB has thrown for 22 TDs this season and he’s got a couple of really strong receivers in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, each have been targeted more than 100 times this season.
Buffalo can put up a fight with a stingy defense, but Oakland is getting the win.
