The Dallas Cowboys are hosting the Baltimore Ravens in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. The NFL Odds for the game have the Cowboys listed as a comfortable favorite to pick up the victory in this one.
Total: 45 points
Dallas has looked like the best team in the NFC the past few months and they might be the best overall team in the league. The Cowboys are coming off an impressive win at Pittsburgh where they scored twice with less than two minutes remaining to take the lead both times from the Steelers. That was a great game and arguably the best we have seen in the NFL this season between a pair of strong teams.
Dallas is now 8-1, their lone loss on the season came by a single point in the first week of the season to New York. The rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot have both been phenomenal to date and it’s a major credit to the Cowboy offensive line, which is easily the best in pro football.
Baltimore remains a middle of the road team, Joe Flacco is taking up a ton of their salary cap and he’s completed nine touchdowns to nine interceptions this season. They don’t run the ball particularly well but they’ve been in every game this season so a solid running game could have helped them get to a better record to this point. All four of the Ravens losses have come by a combined 19 points, which is surprising given the team is one of the worst in the league at the ground game.
The defense is still stout, allowing just under 18 points per game that ranks tied for third place in the league. Dallas is playing crazy good football right now and they are real strong at home.
