The Baltimore Ravens travel to take on the Cleveland Browns in NFL football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the odds for the game have the Ravens favored by less than a field goal in this one.
Baltimore picked up a nice win last week, taking out their rival Pittsburgh Steelers. They'll hit the road to take on a Cleveland team that is flying high after beating New Orleans as time expired last week. This might be a spot to fade the Browns as they could be looking at a potential letdown. But then again, they are playing a division rival at home, so they should be looking for another solid effort.
Both defenses are pretty good, so they team that can establish the run game and be effective with the football should have the leg up in this one. Cleveland showed last week that they have a very good defense, but they have given up quite a few yards so far this year. So they'll have to get off the field against the Ravens in this one.
Baltimore has been pretty pedestrian offensively, though. Joe Flacco has averaged under 250 yards through the air per game. But the Ravens did a good job of running the football last week against Pittsburgh. They'll look to replicate that again this week.
The Ravens will be playing their third straight AFC North opponent as the Ravens split games with Cincinnati and Pittsburgh last week.
Brian Hoyer has been good for the Browns, finding his receivers and moving the football for Cleveland. Miles Austin has already hauled in 22 catches for the Browns, who are also getting solid contributions from Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell.
Cleveland's plus-three on the turnover differential this season will be important in this one. If they can win that battle and cause the Ravens to turn the football over, Cleveland should be able to get the job done at home.
But a big game from Flacco along with a solid defensive effort from the Ravens propels them to the win.
