NFL Football Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the Atlanta Falcons tonight in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for an 8:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. The NFL Odds for the game have the Falcons favored to pick up the victory on the road.

NFL Odds
Atlanta -3.5
Total: 50.5 points

Atlanta has actually been a decent road team this season, winning three of the four games away from home. They’re favored here tonight over a Buccaneers team that believes it is on the rise in the NFC South despite being only 3-4 on the campaign.

The problem for Tampa Bay has been tough play at home, where they have dropped all three of their games this season with losses to St. Louis, Denver and Oakland.

Starting tailbacks Doug Martin and Jacquizz Rodgers are both officially out tonight. That could mean a lot of passing for the Bucs and Jameis Winston as the running game will be non-existent. Both teams have excellent options at receiver and with the running game for Tampa Bay going to presumably struggle, look for Winston to throw a ton of passes here.

Matt Ryan to Julio Jones could be a big combination here. The Bucs just gave up 500 yards passing to Derek Carr and the Raiders last week and there's probably no reason they got any better this week.

Tampa Bay won the first game between the teams this season 31-24 and this game could be another one of those games with points being scored. Atlanta is a pretty good football team and they’ve scored at least 30 points five times already this season.
