The Seattle Seahawks are hosting the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The NFL Odds for the game have the Seahawks listed as a small favorite to pick up the win.
NFL Odds
Seattle -1
Total: 46 points
Seattle is banged up. The Seahawks are very strong in home games, but with multiple players out on the defensive side of the football, it will be tough against the pass-heavy Falcons here.
Devonta Freeman won’t play here as he continues to go through the concussion protocol. Tevin Coleman is a nice backup, and he can catch the football coming out of the backfield and should provide a nice option for Matt Ryan here against the Seahawks. Julio Jones could also have a big game with Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor being sidelined, it’s possible Earl Thomas could also be missing the game.
Atlanta’s defense isn’t exactly great and each game the remainder of the season is huge to any success the Falcons could have this year.
This is a game the Falcons can win and a game they have to find a way to win.
