Atlanta needed to find a way to win last week at home against Minnesota. It didn’t happen, which makes this game here against a divisional opponent even more important. Atlanta is 7-5 overall and they’ve struggled in home games, winning just three of their six contests.

New Orleans has been hot, though the Saints did drop a game at Los Angeles two weeks back. That game included, New Orleans has won nine of the last 10 games overall.

Matt Ryan to Julio Jones will be on display tonight, because it’s the best chance Atlanta has to win. The Falcon run game has some decent players, but Devonta Freeman has been banged up and in concussion protocol.

A team that doesn’t have running problems is New Orleans as Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara make up arguably the best one-two punch in the league. They’ve combined for 16 touchdowns on the ground while Kamara also has four receiving scores.

But desperation mode could be setting in for Atlanta here. They’ve typically been great with Ryan in home starts and they have to find a way to win here.
