New England is not favored to match last year’s 13 wins, though; the Under 12.5 wins is drawing 10-17 odds ($170 to win $100) while the Over 12.5 wins is set at 7-5 odds ($100 to win $140).
Clearly both Vegas and offshore based books are high on Tom Brady and company, but they differ in at least one area regarding New England. While Sportsbook.ag is predicting a drop off in regular season wins, the folks at Cantor Gaming, who released point spreads for every game on the 2012 NFL schedule save Week 17, have the Patriots favored in each of their first 15 games.
Cantor’s NFL point spreads are quite a statement, indeed, considering New England meets potential powers in Baltimore, Houston, San Francisco, and Denver outside of division play.
