The Badgers have a great inside-out game with Bronson Koenig and Ethan Happ. They aren’t a flashy team or one that puts up a crazy amount of points, but they are an experienced team the can play within itself and feed Happ for easy buckets inside. Virginia Tech could have a tough time slowing them down on the interior in this one, it should be an advantage for the Badgers. Another way Wisconsin should be able to build an edge is on the glass, where Wisconsin could have the upper hand over a team that ranks 320th in rebounding.

The Hokies can score (79.3 per game) and have five guys that average in double figures, plus another at nine points per game. Wisconsin ranks eighth nationally in defensive efficiency rankings, allowing only 91.3 points per 100 possessions, so that should mean this game is a strength on strength contest.

Virginia Tech played in an extremely tough ACC this season, but Wisconsin is full of guys that have grit and just work hard. They also have some quality experience, which will come into play here.
