The Kansas Jayhawks are taking on the UC Davis Aggies in NCAA Tournament action on Friday night. The game is scheduled for a 6:50 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. The college basketball odds for the game have the Jayhawks favored to run away with this one.
College Basketball Odds
Kansas -23.5
Total: 145.5 points
UC Davis won a nice game over North Carolina Central in the First Four on Wednesday. It’s nice to see the Aggies pick up a win here in the tournament, but their run will quickly be coming to an end here.
Kansas missed out on winning a Big 12 Tournament title when they lost to TCU. Josh Jackson was suspended for that game because of an off court issue and credit to Bill Self for reprimanding his player in that situation. Whether or not it caused the Jayhawks to actually lose the game is up for interpretation, but the fact remains Kansas lost a close one and Jackson surely would have made a difference.
The Jayhawks also have potential player of the year Frank Mason III, he averages almost 21 points a game and works hard at both ends of the floor to keep Kansas in a good spot.
UC Davis might hang around for a little while, but Kansas flexes its muscles here in the win.
