On Wednesday evening the NCAA Tournament First Four continues as the North Carolina Central Eagles are taking on the UC Davis Aggies. College Basketball Odds
NC Central -3
North Carolina Central won 25 games this season, they started 0-2 and at one points were 6-5 following a loss to LSU in mid December. Since then the Eagles went 19-3, including dropping games to Savannah State and North Carolina A&T toward the end of the season.
UC Davis is 22-12 on the year, this year marks the Aggies’ first trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Big West tournament. The Aggies have been piling up the wins all season and they’ve pieced together six of the last seven games overall to end the season.
UC Davis is led in scoring by Brynton Lemar with 16.1 points per game. Both Chima Moneke and Siler Schneider average double digits as well.
NC Central is led by Patrick Cole’s 19.5 points, seven rebounds and almost six assists per game. He’s clearly their best player though Dajuan Graf also averages 14.3 points per game as well. Outside of them they have quite a few role players, but Cole and Graf are their go-to guys.
Cole is going to have a big game here.
