The Warriors are also a solid 26-13 on their home floor this year. Golden State is a very good offensive team as they come in ranked 10th in the league in scoring at 103.6 ppg, while also ranking 9th in shooting overall (46.1%) and 5th in 3pt shooting (37.8%). Just 3 players average in double figures on this team, led by Steph Curry, who scored 23.5 ppg on the year. David Lee is next at 18.5 ppg, while close behind is Klay Thompson. David Lee will be missing this game though. At the defensive end of the floor the Warriors are also very solid as they rank 8th in points allowed (98.8 ppg), 4th in defensive FG% (43.6%) and 3rd in 3pt defense (34.4%).
Pick: I can see this one as a bit lower scoring than most think. The Nuggets should be without their two best scorers and this Golden State team plays great defense at home, where they have allowed just 96.6 ppg for the year. The Warriors score 104.3 ppg at home, and the Nuggets allows 107.9 on the road, but i feel that once this team gets up big, and they should, they will call off the dogs. I look for this one to stay under 210 points.
