The NBA Playoffs continue Thursday night in Game 6 between the visiting Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. The NBA Playoff odds for the game have the visiting Heat favored by 2 points. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 pm start time and it will be televised live on ESPN. The spread shows that bookmakers have a prediction of a close road win for the Heat, holding off elimination by the Celtics.

Picks: The Boston Celtics came into Miami for Game 5 and punked the Heat, leaving with a 94-90 victory. Now the series shifts back to Boston where the Heat must win tonight to continue their season. LeBron James will have his season on the line again in Boston, much like he did with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, it seems to have gotten worse since James showed up down on South Beach. The Heat have lost seven of eight games in Boston since James signed. If Miami can't win tonight, they'll have suffered a fourth consecutive loss to the Celtics, a fifth straight loss overall in Boston and a second consecutive year of failed promises. Miami overall has only won once in Boston since Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen teamed up. Boston knocked out Miami during the 2010 playoffs before topping James' Cleveland squad. Miami did take out the Celtics last year and only won once in Boston. In total, the Heat have dropped 15 of the last 16 regular-season games in Boston. It just gets worse. A Boston win tonight will put the Celtics in the NBA Finals for the third time in five seasons. The Celtics have a bit of breathing room, unlike Miami. If the Heat are able to win tonight, the Celtics still have a seventh game to potentially win. Remember, they've already proven they can win on the road. Rajon Rondo finished with seven points, 13 assists and six rebounds in Game 5 but did seem to have some discomfort with an elbow. Chris Bosh will also probably play, even though he is banged up as well. It should be a great game.

Predictions: Hard to believe that the Celtics are a home underdog, especially in the position we are in. Boston won in Miami and now hold a 3-2 lead over the Heat with a chance to play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. Now, the fans (outside of Boston) and the NBA definitely want the Heat and Thunder to play for the right to be called a champion, so rest assured there is going to be some conspiracy talk no matter what happens tonight. However, I think Miami can win tonight to force a Game 7 back at home. I think LeBron and Wade have massive games. Miami 99, Boston 92
