The Golden State Warriors are hosting the Houston Rockets tonight in Game 2 of their NBA Playoffs series. The game is scheduled for a 10:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Warriors listed as a comfortable favorite in this one.
Line: Golden State -13
Total: 218
It looks like Steph Curry is going to be a game-time-decision in this one tonight. He’s got a bit of an ankle problem dating back to Game 1 of this series. The Warriors pulled away comfortably in that opening game, winning 104-78.
Defensively Golden State held Houston to three quarters below the 20-point threshold, which isn’t going to win many games against the Warriors. Golden State took 91 shots in that game and connected for just under 43 percent, including knocking down 10 triples. They could probably still beat Houston tonight without Curry in the lineup. The Warriors have several options if Curry is indeed on the bench and it really won’t hurt them, even if they do lose. Remember, he only played 20 minutes in the first game in this series and Golden State still won by almost 30 points.
Look for Golden State to have no issues tonight.
