The Houston Rockets are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight in Game 2 of their NBA Playoff series. The game is scheduled for a 9:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. The NBA Playoff Odds for the game have the Rockets favored by a comfortable margin to pick up the win here.
NBA Playoff Odds
Houston -10
Total: 214 points
Houston struggled with Minnesota in the first game of the series, holding on to win late. The Timberwolves had five guys in double figures in that game and Karl-Anthony Towns wasn’t one of them. Had KAT been able to have a big game, the Timberwolves may have shocked the Rockets in that opener.
But as it is, they’re probably going back to Minnesota down 2-0 in the series. Houston got a big wake-up call in that first game even with James Harden having a huge game, tossing in 44 points while handing out eight assists.
Harden and company would much rather head to Minnesota up 2-0 than tied 1-1. They’re going to need a strong effort from Chris Paul here at home, though it does look like the Timberwolves are up for competing in the series.
