The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Boston Celtics tonight in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The NBA Playoff Odds for the game have the Cavs favored to pick up the victory.
NBA Playoff Odds
Cleveland -6.5
Total: 205 points
LeBron James and the Cavaliers need to find a way to pick up a win here. The Cavaliers are in an 0-2 hole and have been beaten up in both games to date. Boston has figured out how to get the best of the Cavs so far and it’s worked, now the Celtics are just two games away from the NBA Finals.
James has played well enough in the two defeats, but the rest of his team has really come up short. Cleveland hasn’t reached 95 points in either of the opening two games. They’re missing a ton of shots, playing no defense and Boston is doing a solid job of taking advantage of it. It’s been proven that James can’t do it all himself against this Boston team, one that has no superstars on the floor but has an amazing coach in Brad Stevens.
Cleveland, though, has to find a way.
