NBA Odds Oklahoma City Thunder vs Miami Heat

The Miami Heat will look to tame Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight when the two squads square off at the AmericanAirlines Arena in South Florida. Start time in this evening's marquee NBA match-up is set for 7:00pm ET; the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. The latest NBA Odds have the hosting Heat listed as a -4 against the spread and -175 money line favorite ($175 wins $100). The Over/Under in tonight's inter-conference battle between Miami and Oklahoma City is set at 204 points.

The Thunder are the hottest team in the league right now as they notched their eighth straight win on Monday night with a 111-109 triumph over the Hawks at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The victory, which improved the Thunder's record to 36-10, did not feature a sterling defensive effort from Oklahoma City as the Hawks shot 48.9 percent from the field and 48 percent from three point range; however, Atlanta, like every other Thunder opponent, could not control Kevin Durant.

Durant poured in 41 points on 15-of-25 shooting and he connected on five of his seven attempts from beyond the arc. The former Texas Longhorn, who leads the league with a 31.3 point per game average, has now scored 36 or more points in eight of the 14 games he has played this month and he has scored at least 30 points in 11 straight games.

The Heat may not be able to contain Durant either, but they will certainly have a chance to keep pace with Oklahoma City's offense. Miami presently ranks seventh in the NBA with a 104.3 point per game average and it has averaged 105.7 points per contest in its last six outings, leading to a 5-1 record for the defending champions.

The Heat, who are 19-3 at home this season, have also won the last six games in this inter-conference series (includes playoffs), besting the Thunder by an average of 7.8 points per game.

Notable Trends: The Heat are 6-0 straight up and 5-1 against the spread in their last six games playing as a home favorite and coming off three straight home wins.

NBA Odds Oklahoma City Thunder vs Miami Heat:

Oklahoma City Thunder +4 (-110), Over 204 (-110), +155 (Moneyline)

Miami Heat -4 (-110), Under 204 (-110), -175 (Moneyline)
