NBA Odds Oklahoma City Thunder vs Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets will attempt to do tonight what the defending champion Miami Heat were unable to on Wednesday evening, which is stop the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip off in tonight's clash between the Thunder and Nets is set for 8:00pm ET at the Barclays Center in New York; the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. Friday's opening NBA Odds have Oklahoma City listed as a -4.5 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 198 points. The Thunder are getting -180 money line odds while the Nets are drawing a +157 money line ($100 wins $157).

The Thunder's roll reached nine games on Wednesday night when they knocked off LeBron James and company 112-95 at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. While James led all scorers with 34 points, Kevin Durant continued his offensive assault, posting 33 points on 12-of-23 shooting (4-of-9 from three point range). The game marked Durant's 11th consecutive game where he tallied at least 30 points.

On the defensive end of the floor Oklahoma City managed to force 20 Heat turnovers and hold Miami to an abysmal 3-for-19 from beyond the arc.

Turnovers issues also played a major part in the outcome of the first meeting between the Thunder and the Nets. The two squads hooked up at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on January 2nd and Brooklyn prevailed 95-93 thanks to the 21 turnovers and 23 personal fouls Oklahoma City committed.

That game also marked a turning point in the Nets season, which had been a major disappointment through November and December. Brooklyn is 9-2 since facing the Thunder, bringing its record to 20-23 overall.

The Nets, despite Wednesday's 103-104 loss to the Atlantic leading Raptors, have been lights out at home recently too. Brooklyn had won seven straight at the Barclays Center prior to facing Toronto, defeating teams like Golden State, Miami, and Dallas.

Notable Trends: The Thunder are 1-5 both straight up and against the spread in their last six games as a road favorite with a line within 4.5 points of pick'em and coming off a road win (courtesy of Dr. Meyer's SDQL).

NBA Odds Oklahoma City Thunder vs Brooklyn Nets:

Oklahoma City Thunder -4.5 (-110), Over 198 (-110), -180 (Moneyline)

Brooklyn Nets +4.5 (-110), Under 198 (-110), +157 (Moneyline)
