NBA Odds Miami Heat vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Arguably the league's two best teams open tonight's NBA on TNT slate as the Miami Heat battle the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma. Tip off in this evening's clash between the Heat and Thunder is set for 8:00pm ET. The latest NBA Odds are favoring Oklahoma City at -3 against the spread; the Over/Under is set at 207.5 points.

Miami had won three straight regular season meetings between these two teams until the Thunder arrived in South Florida on January 29th. Oklahoma City put an end to the Heat's run, topping LeBron James and company 112-95 at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Kevin Durant, who appears well on his way to winning his first league MVP trophy, posted 33 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the double digit victory. As a team the Thunder shot a 51.3 percent from the field and an unbelievable 59.3 percent from beyond the arc.

James logged 34 points for the Heat, but Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were the only other Miami players to reach double figures in scoring in the loss.

Miami has produced a 6-1 since its first showdown with Oklahoma City, and it rides at three game winning streak into tonight's game. The Heat, who close out a six game road swing this evening, toppled the Suns and Warriors in the lead up to last weekend's All Star Game, and they wiped out the Mavericks 117-106 on Tuesday night.

The Thunder have also won their last three games, beating the Knicks, Trail Blazers, and Lakers by an average of 6.3 points per contest. Tonight will represent OKC's first post All Star Game action.

This evening could also mark the return of point guard Russell Westbrook to the Thunder's lineup. Westbrook, who is listed as questionable, missed the team's last 27 games after re-aggravating a knee injury he sustained late last season.

Notable Trends: Oklahoma City is 4-2 straight up but 1-5 against the spread in its last six games playing as a home favorite coming off three straight wins (courtesy of Dr. Meyer's SDQL).

NBA Odds Miami Heat vs Oklahoma City Thunder:

Miami Heat +3 (-110), Over 207.5 (-110), +125 (Moneyline)

Oklahoma City Thunder -3 (-110), Under 207.5 (-110), -145 (Moneyline)
