The Heat look like an unstoppable force right now as they won their 24th straight game last night to improve to an NBA best 53-14. Miami, which has lost just two games since January 15th, owns a commanding 11.5 game lead in the race for the conference’s top seed, virtually assuring it of home court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. Considering LeBron James and his cohorts are 30-3 at home this season, they are all but a lock to reach the NBA Finals for a third consecutive year. The latest NBA Finals Odds 2013 would indicate Miami is almost a lock to retain its title. The Heat are drawing -140 odds ($140 wins $100) to win the championship while the next closest team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, are sitting at +450 odds ($100 wins $450). Third on the odds leaderboard are the San Antonio Spurs at +800; the Clippers, Lakers, and Nuggets (this week’s big mover) are all getting +2000 odds to win the NBA Finals.
