NBA Finals Game 1 Start Time, Betting Odds

The Golden State Warriors are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The game is scheduled for a 9:00 p.m. (EST) start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. The Finals Odds for the game have the Warriors favored to pick up the win by a handful of buckets.

NBA Finals Odds
Golden State -7
Total: 225 points

Finally, the third chapter in this story gets to be written. Golden State and Cleveland one again have reached the pinnacle of the NBA world and we get our rubber match as each team has picked up a championship in the last two seasons. Everyone expected these two teams to get here once again, especially after Kevin Durant made the decision to join the Warriors in the off-season.

Golden State won all 12 of their earlier NBA Playoff games, Cleveland dropped just one of theirs. The Warriors have spent a little more time waiting around to play this game after sweeping the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals, that could cause them to have a little bit of rust coming into this one.

This is the third consecutive Finals where the Warriors have home-court advantage. LeBron James and the Cavs are ready to play in Oakland and find a way to split the two opening games, giving them an advantage coming back home.

There should be plenty of points scored here between the two teams. Golden State is scoring better than 118 points per game this postseason while Cleveland has averaged better than 116 themselves. Each team is also yielding higher than 100 points to opponents.
