NBA Betting Odds Thunder vs Spurs

The surging Oklahoma City Thunder open a three game road set tonight with a stop at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. This evening's battle between the Thunder and Spurs is scheduled to tip off at 8:00pm ET on ESPN. Today's opening NBA Betting Odds have San Antonio listed as a -5.5 against the spread and -225 money line favorite ($225 wins $100); the Over/Under is set at 204.5 points.

Oklahoma City had some issues adjusting to the absence of Russell Westbrook as they posted a 5-5 record in the first 10 games following his injury induced departure; however, they have rediscovered their dominating ways over last week.

The Thunder, who may get Westbrook for their January 27th meeting with Atlanta, come into tonight's contest riding a four game winning streak.

Oklahoma City extended its run, which has featured wins over the Rockets, Warriors, and Kings, last night by dumping Northwest rival Portland 105-97 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Kevin Durant, who is averaging 38.3 points per game over his last 10 games, turned in another ridiculous performance in the win over the Trail Blazers. The six year veteran dropped in 46 points on 17-of-25 shooting, including a 6-for-7 effort from beyond the arc.

Durant may need a similar outing tonight if the Thunder are to get past San Antonio. At 32-9 the Spurs own the best record in the Western Conference; however, they have played better on the road than at home this season.

San Antonio, which knocked off Milwaukee 110-82 on Sunday night, is an impressive 17-6 at the AT&T Center, but it is 15-3 in 18 away outings.

The Spurs have also had their share of troubles with the Thunder of late. Oklahoma City, which has earned home and away wins over San Antonio this season, is 4-1 in its last five games against Greg Popovich's squad.

Notable Trends: The Spurs are 3-4 straight up and 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games as a home favorite with a spread between 4 and 7.5 points.

NBA Betting Odds Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs:

Oklahoma City Thunder +5.5 (-110), Over 204.5 (-110), +190 (Moneyline)

San Antonio Spurs -5.5 (-110), Under 204.5 (-110), -225 (Moneyline)
