The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will fight for divisional positioning tomorrow night (2/8/14) when they square off at the U.S. Airways Center in Arizona. Saturday's showdown between the two Pacific Division rivals is scheduled to get underway at 9:00pm ET. Tomorrow's opening NBA Betting Odds have the Suns favored at -2 against the spread and the Over/Under is set at 210 points.

Golden State scored a much needed win against the Bulls on Thursday night at the ORACLE Arena, but the team had no time to bask in the victory with the rival Suns on tap.

The Warriors win over Chicago gave them sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division standings, but they have no margin for error with 29-20 Phoenix just a half game back.

The Suns are in the same position, though, thanks to back to back losses to Chicago and Houston. Phoenix was riding a season long five game winning streak when it hosted the Bulls on Tuesday night, but Joakim Noah and company scored a surprise 101-92 victory.

The Suns were unable to shake off the poor performance when they faced the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday. Phoenix offense showed up as it scored 108 points on 42-of-90 shooting, but Houston tallied 122 points after draining 54.9 percent from the field and 68.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Two days of rest and a return home should, no doubt, help the Suns get their legs back; however, Golden State, which will be without forward David Lee tomorrow night, has been a thorn in Phoenix side the last few years. The two rivals are 1-1 opposite each other this season, but the Warriors are 7-1 in their last eight meetings with the Suns.

Notable Trends: Phoenix is 1-4 both straight up and against the spread in its last five games as a home favorite coming off a road loss that was preceded by a home loss.
